You know your lights are set too high when you can see the inside of a car in front of you.
Another way to know is: If you see blue light indicator on the dash, thats a high beam. TURN THAT SH|T OFF

I set mine to where they are directly in a persons rearview mirror or into on coming traffic directly in their eyes bcuz I don't like other people on the road at the same time as me !!!.. And I keep the bright lights on all the time !!--

Your adjustment was more than perfect!! I did the same for my car I bought complete set headlights both sides and they were aiming too low and too bright just 20 ft ahead and now after adjustment they aim as far as 200+ ft ahead thanks for sharing your video

The headlights can be adjusted with a long Philips screwdriver on top of the bolt area, it will be faster and easier than the wrenches.

As a rough'n'ready, get you home method it's OK-ish, as you'll be able to see, but you need to adjust them properly as soon as possible.

My 2010 nissan has adjustable headlights.. it has 3 positions and you change it while driving . close for town away for highway

My car is 1997 commodore vs and nobody notices my high beam, put new ones in and WOW but one will only work on Parker's. Looking to rectify this.

In here in india in Hyundai cars you can do it through The cabin i mean its right in front of you on driving seat the headlamp and fog lamps adjustment

Title should be "How to aim you headlights any old way." There are state safety standards (not "I want to see as far as I can" like this guy says). Other YouTube videos show you how to actually *aim* your lights at 25'.

Why not pop into an Mot station and get them aimed to the standards of your roads. Simple and safe.

Only adjust from the outside once you have checked the rotary adjuster inside on the lower dashboard area.

I'll pick the middle alignment it's wrong but it pisses other people off and that's what it's all about right. Proud to be an American
