Max Canada Lynx brush nails commands

For those who don't know, Max is an educational animal ambassador educating the public on the Lynx species and their threatened species status in the US. He has been a challenge from the start with his energetic personality. At six months old I consulted with a trainer, Kayce Cover, who directed me on understanding and managing his behavior. Today I gave him a brushing since he is losing his winter coat and a nail trim. As you can see he likes to bite but not hard. I directed him away from biting by asking for his face and he stopped biting and allowed me to scratch his face while he licked my hand. At the end I use a "in" command when I want him to return to his enclosure. In my hand is a riding crop use for guidance. I'm an educator and not a trainer, so it has been a difficult journey for Max and I. I see this video as great progress.

That is so incredible amazing that Max has his claws. I saw another clips of some dude breeding Lynxs in Canada for sale as pets. He said that the Lynx he showed off in the video clip was declawed. I'm so proud for Max being whole and natural as a most beautiful cat. I noticed that you clip his claws exactly as I clip my Ellie cat's claws.

Beautiful & impressive! The amount of trust required for a domestic cat or any animal for that matter to allow their paws to be Wow what a privilege to have a relationship with such an awesome creature. I've watched several of your videos Max is obviously a lover (for a wild animal) and a spectacular ambassador.

Max is very beautiful. Just wondering, why do lynx cats have very short tails? I see that many other big cats have long tails
