Max the Canada Lynx learns more

I'm no trainer but attempting to communicate better with my partner, Max through a system created by Kayce Cover. So, we are both learning. This is our first attempt at "name & explain." After our walk, we tried again while I stood and he was sitting on the workbench. It wasn't much better but at least it was easier on my legs! While we walked I tried explaining left turn and right turn but he was more focused on rolling in the grass. That will be our next video - leash walking. Fun! I will be persistent on naming everything - actions and items with him.

He's such a freaking cutie pie.  It really is too bad they do not make good pets, I would love to have a pet like that.  Who wouldn't?

Max is such a cutie. And compared to nearly ANY domestic cat, he is SO gentle, especially for a kitten.
No claws or teeth in evidence in his interactions with you.
Edit: and so I just watched the next video, on the pre-exhibit, and of course Max has to make a liar of me, wanting to use both teeth and claws...
Never fails, you'd think I would know not to marvel at that type of thing where animals or children are involved!
🤣😅😂😆😂😅🤣

I believe Max can learn anything you’d want to teach him .... Look what he knows already, , nature didn’t teach him that, , you did, ,, So with time and patience and a lot love I believe you will, , not nobody else but you He loves and trusts you ... Thanks for sharing him with me....

He didn't want to "learn" straightaway because he was so happy to see her! That's why he was being such a goof, and purring so much. Also, cats take to training much more when you talk to them like an 8yr old child as opposed to a preverbal child. Never forget that they know EXACTLY what you're saying, but they don't necessarily give a damn unless they respect you implicitly.

Where and how can you purchase a lynx? I'm very interested in having one and committing to it's needs. They're so awesome.

Just came across this video of adorable Max (slowly but surely getting around to viewing all his lovely videos) but just wanted to ask you Bernie, how the training described in this video went with Max, particularly the methods of training, his attention span, Voice utterance commands including the implementation of the "kkkk", does he now recognise and respond to your verbal requests as such and how is he coming along with it all? Many thanks in advance. Sincerest best wishes to both you and Max all the way from the UK . Hugs and kisses to the gorgeous Max Xx 🐈💓 X 😀

slowly been working through all max's vids, he is a unique, amazing and special animal; as is yours and his relationship...so genuine and loving, on both sides! lol. Watching you two work together has been very helpful in terms of giving me suggestions for changes, additions, variations etc on my own training of my f1 bengal, who due to appalling socialization was very wild when she first found her way into my life! So thankyou to you both! heh.
Also i have been wondering do you have either written or vid somewhere of how and at what age and condition etc max found his way to you (whom he clearly thinks of as mama and home! aww so sweet! heh )

I don't know about training a lynx at all but I talk to my Maine Coone in baby talk...do you think he would respond to baby talk? I noticed you use the KI ki ki alot. I just wonder if the musical and lyrical sound of baby talk would work? You are SO GOOD with him!!! He is stunning and gorgeous...thank you so much for what yo do...XXOO

Kuklachev best example that if you find right way there is attention span could be found even in cats. Although In one of his late interviews he mention that he just using their natural behaviors. You just need skill to spot it and way of using it.

Have Max to sleep in a cage? Can't he go and sleep around the whole flat as usual housecats, may be it's dangerous? I gave likes and sub :) BTW are lynxes/ bobcats good at climbing trees cause I see they are very agile?
P.S.: 3:35 "Stop teaching me English, I have enough" :)
