As an INTJ, I can say that I honestly don’t know if having an INTJ partner would mean that I’d have someone that understands everything that I say and that ends up in a really nice conversation or if it would mean that we would never have a conversation at all.

As an INTJ female common feedback I would get from men I dated was that they thought I actually didn't want to hang out with them and wasn't interested because I would tell them I didn't drink and I didn't want to go out to the club or do most social activities because I didn't enjoy them. I was baffled. I never told these men I didn't like them. I told them more than once that I did! I liked them. But not the activities they wanted us to be a part of. I say what I mean and mean what I say. There's no gray area with me. Its black or white. I say potato I mean potato. I am also frequently told by others I am very "direct and blunt" and that also has always puzzled me because I don't know how else to function.

Hubby ENTJ me INTJ. Our conversations start out with “I need either a listening ear or I need help problem solving” solved a lot of frustrating conversations right off the bat! Ive learned to be his cheerleader and he’s learned as long as I have a month to get ready for an event I am fine. We’ve both learned how to be open emotionally and less robotic with each other. But this video is lit! 😂 the presentation bit was perfect! I find myself stopping and going “let me start that over” at least every couple of days.
