That look of UTTER DISGUST when presented with the kiddy chopsticks 😂😂

Metal ones should always have the grippy lines at the top or something, otherwise i feel like they're just purposely trying to curse you

This is so validating. I'm glad I learned with metal chopsticks, had no idea they're more difficult

While growing up, our family called the metal ones “university level” chopsticks. 😂
I think my hand cramped for months when I started using them

You adopted the idea of the chopsticks. I was mearly molded by it, these metal chopsticks gave me power that allowed me to use ANYTHING as a chopstick. Even sewing needles.

"Too far?", lol. Revenge is a dish best served with utensils you can eat it with. 😂

I love metal chopsticks, was a challenge to learn using them but after that you will never want wood or plastic ones. The metal is slippery yes but being thin you can pick up super small items.

As someone who's korean it's often the other way around for me. Metal chopsticks are so normal it feels weird using wooden ones lol

I’m Vietnamese and we have a few pairs of those chopsticks at home. My mum always give them to the guests she doesn‘t like 😂

I love Korean chopsticks!

Steepest learning curve but oh so rewarding in their fine control once mastered!

I also couldn't use those Korean metal chopsticks when I was in Seoul. It was utterly baffling how the locals around me used them with elegant ease while I spent a good 10 minutes discreetly stabbing at my food with them before hanging my head in defeat and meekly asking the waiter for a fork and spoon.

There’s a nostalgic carnival game in Korea where you have to pick up as many marbles as you can from a metal bowl full of water with those metal chopsticks in a certain time limit. Really teaches kids how to master them.

As someone who faces sensory challenges, I prefer the smoothness of the stainless steel chopsticks as opposed to the horrible scratchy feeling of wood/bamboo chopsticks.

I lived in South Korea for a year or so and it gets easier, but they're also heavy so your hands get tired faster when learning. I love a Korean metal spoon though, can't live without those.
