Jesus is who he is. Some denominations have used the bible for power and money but that doesn't change who God is

Atheism is divided. When I was an Atheist, I considered myself an “Agnostic Atheist” as did many other people, meaning I didn’t believe in God, but accepted that his existence is possible. Other Atheists completely denied the possibility.

If all these denominations all can agree on 1 major thing(Jesus), then it goes to show the likelihood that it has some authenticity to the faith.

The orthodox mainstream Christianities are provinces within the kingdom of God..

Differences doesnt necesserily mean divided ..

A father, mother, son, and daughter may be divided on some issues but united as a family

Even other religions have their own divisions.
Most people don't realize that Islam has splits based on this teacher and that teacher and some Muslims claims other Muslims are not Muslims because they follow a false teacher yet, they all follow 1 of the 20 different Qurans.
And things like "Karma" and "reincarnation" is followed by 1 sect of the 10-20 different Hindu religious sects.

There's even Atheists who don't believe in God but still want Christianity to exist or to keep flourishing because of the good it brought and is constantly bringing.

This was a brilliant response. As one other commenter has already stated, Jesus is Who He is. The church has continually fought to uphold what it knows to be true about Him, His life, His teachings and His mission for 2, 000 years. And while some groups have broken off over heresies, and we’ve seen these heresies recycled over those two millennium, true Christians hold true to Christ - regardless of denomination. Denominationalism is human nature its everywhere in ideologies, religion. People like to key in on specifics and make that a major factor that leads to splintering groups, it doesn't mean the core idea is wrong.

There's a South Park episode called "Go God Go" which mocks how if atheism was the only system. Everyone would argue on which is the correct atheism.

Depends how we view the other denominations. We are called to radical unity. When we start declaring certain denominations as not Christian, then they are failing to unify.

We don’t get the out of ‘human nature’ as we are tasked with a ‘Jesus nature’

I never found the division surrounding faith as a compelling argument against it. Different denominations of Christianity are not evidence of falsehood, but rather evidence that we are not masters of being Christian.

except it is natural for subjective groups to have divisions. but for a specific group of ppl which believe in objective truth there should not be any divisions if they were to be united in their god and their beliefs

It’s not about whether Atheism can also be or is divided as well. It’s about Christianity claiming to be the truth and one true religion and thats an extraordinary claim because if it’s true there shouldn’t BE any division….yet there is. So therefore..Christianity is just another religion because it’s as imperfect as other religions.

Claiming that so many denominations disproves Christianity like claiming so many different composers disproves music.
