There are no 24-bit 192kHz versions of this song. The original, I believe, was recorded in the studio at 16-bit 48kHz then downsampled to 44.1kHz for CD production.
It sounds good, but this is the sterilized version of the song. Post the full original or forget it :)

Was hearing a version of this in a Burmester showroom and trying to find that version. This here is similar but not quite the version i heard. It featured the "i want my MTV" line several times and then stopped after the guitare solo climax. Maybe someone can help me find the version am talking about.

FYI, all tracks from Brothers In Arms on this new version of the MFN compilation are upsampled from 44/24. Not sure why, presumedly because there are hi-res versions of BiA that can be bought.

I’ve heard nothing but negative reviews of this 2022 double album.
I’ve the original 1988 single vinyl pressing, so I’m cautious. I’ve heard the discs are noisy and badly cut.
