I am absolutely addicted to this channel! More than documentary, more than engineering classes! Genius! Thanks. God keep safe our aviation and passengers. Please pray when flying. Pray to your Angel; he will keep the plane on his palm safe.

The sole survivor of the Northwest flight, 4-year old Cecelia Cichan, is now 41-years old, married and a mother.

If you're not actually checking items off as you go through your list then it's not a checklist, it's just a list.

I just want to say thank you and RIP to all the people who unfortunately had to die so we can safely get to our destinations today!

Captain Asseline wasn’t fully in the wrong. The fact that they switched the black boxes shows what people do when the want to prove themselves innocent. Good luck to Asseline

I was binging on these air disaster videos just before i flew on a plane to Oregon. It made me a little nervous thinking about all the things that could go wrong

Remember one door didn't open on the plane.

I don't know why I find these things fascinating, but they're scary as heck. Air France 447 and PSA 182 have stuck with me for quite a while. AF 447 was better for the passengers, no one knew anything and it was over in a second. Much worse for those on PSA 182. They had a minute or two to realize that they were all going to die.

Edit: I forgot JAL 123. That one, in terms of passengers, may have been the worst ever.

Mayday has convinced me not to fly with all the shoddy maintenance, incompetent airplane staff, panicked responses to emergency, and unruly passengers who wants to risk their lives in these death traps

I do not know why I'm watching this because I have to fly to the Philippines from New Orleans in a couple of months to live out my retirement.. I have not been on an airplane since the 80s but as long as they sell whiskey I guess I will be okay..hehe😮😂

Why was there no exits in the middle of the plane where the wings are?

Arrogance only has one place in an airplane and that's a fighter jet.... it does not belong anywhere near a passenger plane! Captain Asseline was negligent, reckless and his unfamiliarity of the aircraft he was flying caused the death of two people. All I see is a man trying to stay out of trouble, I do not see a man that has remorse for the loss of his airplane, hurting passengers or the death of two people.

How come it took so many minutes to get out of the planes isn’t that crazy?

Did they change the policies? Or still using the check list that is too long. That policy killed 54 passengers.

The Russians need more training to learn how to distinguish between a military/spy plane and a civilian.

My takeaway is paniced, selfish people killed a lot of their co-travelers, and they have stampeded others to death at other venues.
