Gotta love this short. Even with an engineer's mind (like mine) or zero engineering skills at all (like my wife's) these are very clear definitions and real world examples, bravo US Digital Encoder Support, Ace!

I’m trying to use a genie 1055 garage opener to operate a hand winch that opens a large hangar door. I’m having trouble setting the limits(closed and open positions) since the opener is running the winch it does need to run for a longer period for the door to open and close.
It’ll let me run the door all the way up and down when trying to set the limits but won’t save the positions and fails to set limits.
Any ideas? Would this many rotations be out of the encoders range possibly? Any information would be helpful
By the way great video!

is it correct to say that the difference between higher and lower resolution is like the difference between a 1000 meters and a kilometer
