This video made me feel better. When I am with my close friends, I am comfortable and talkative but when I am in groups I become so quiet, most things they talk about don't interest me and then I feel like I am boring. I guess I should learn to accept myself as who I am (an introvert). That doesn't make me weird or boring. I just have interests and hobbies that I keep to myself or share with my close friends and that is fine :)

i think because of this i'm starting to appreciate a bit more of me and be more comfortable in social situations:) being an introvert isn't that bad tbh, its fun in many ways and maybe a bit too inside.

For me, I kinda hate being unlively. I feel like I don't measure up with everyone else, like I want to be seen as fun, I want to be someone with a lot of friends, even though I do appreciate fewer closer bonds more. Maybe I just need the validation cause I want to be accepted !anyone relate?

The first one I can absolutely relate too, including the rest. At times I would consider myself as boring to others, but as an partial introvert I consider myself as a calm, timid, motivated, passionate and honest and thoughtful person in general. Though I'm not the best at communicating but that doesn't mean I won't try.

Being a kid in the 80's and teen/young adult in the 90's in my experience, it felt like the idea of an introvert didn't exist. I was always forced into social settings. I was told to not be so quiet. Say something. Get engage with the group. Learn something relatable like sports. I hated that and eventually it made me feel like a boring person cause I honestly didn't want many friends or be in a loud large social group setting. I prefer to be social in a one on one setting. When there's a third, I start to take a back seat and let the two others talk.

Really wish there where videos like this back then. It would of made me feel more confident in who I am.

I used to not think negatively about my interests or hobbies, but a friend of mine called me boring once and it just kind of stuck. He didn't mean it to be insulting (at least I don't think so). Ever since that day I've had this thought in the back of my head that maybe most people wouldn't find value in me cause I'm boring. I've always kind of struggled with self esteem, so despite the intentions of my friend who said it, it's one of the few things that's haunted me these last few years. I don't usually share things like this, but this topic is kind of important to me because of the reason I mentioned above.

This video does help understand how introverts are. Alot of people are quick to judge introverts saying 'Oh they're boring, they're loners, they don't want to talk to us because they don't like people.' My two twin best friends are introverts and we've been best friends for more than 14 years. Quality over quantity is true. There are many qualities about introverts but you gotta give them time to open up to you. Trust is a big thing for introverted people.

My boyfriend is an introverted person, and I ended up falling in love with him. He does have alot of these traits and I don't judge him for it. I'm the opposite a super big extroverted person as they come. But I always try to understand his way of seeing things. I don't push him into social events. I don't force him to socialize. I never want to make him feel uncomfortable. We always find a way to compromise in the middle. He is a beautiful person and I love him so much. He has a beautiful personality and is often misjudged by others because he's not super social. But in time he opened up to me and I don't regret it. We've been together for more than 4 years now. And I've never been happier. :)
