You can move through previously typed commands by using keyboard arrow keys.
Instead of copy pasting or re typing commands, just press up arrow key as many times as you need to get to that previously typed command (usually 1-2 times is enough).

You can also try virtualization like VMware Workstation, at least there was free version of it available. You can install the whole Linux distro with everything desktop included, and use it in a window under Windows. I recon also Windows has tools to achieve this, and probably few other solutions too.

Just install a real GNU/Linux distro and discover how much fun and way superior it is compared to Windows :)
