Do you ride throughout winter? What do you do to make it easier?

Ride your bike all year round regardless of conditions. I love riding Sub-Zero, with the proper clothing your cocooned . Enjoying the outdoors while everyone else is shivering. There are winter boots on the market for cycling. And I strongly suggest that you don't use cycling gloves for extreme cold use ski gloves . Have a proper bike for the snow and enjoy. Been doing this for 40 years or more loving it

Here in Bavaria we get snow, lots of it. we have winter tyres for cars and bikes. Mine have studs. Riding through the snow is great, you can also park and do a bit of cross country skiing, or tow sledges or get the dogs out LoL

We have just come out of winter and the trails here are running so mint, hero dirt everywhere. Temperatures are in the 20*c at the moment with a bit of rain every couple of weeks to keep the trails mint and the stoke high😃🤘

Southern Hemisphere in South Africa! Been having 30 degree C days. BUT summer is muddy for us too… just rains… but love the longer days though so can get out after work! Our winter is beautiful too though… dry and doesnt snow here… maybe everyone should just come here!

Winter riding is best in the dark. Gear up, grab some lights and watch your trail vision improve in the dark. Not only do you stay in shape and adapt to the adverse conditions as they occur, you’ll be quicker to make to your line choices because of the lower visibility.

8:30 A lady was clearing litter from a local Leeds jump area in the woods recently. She bagged up 4 bin bags full while the riders looked on. We arrived as she was finishing.

I have had many rides in many winters and I have had to learn the hard way on a few rides what to pack. I actually found my speedway racing fire proof balaclava was great for keeping my ears warm on those zero degree Celsius rides. I also found you see a lot more wildlife early in the morning and later in the evenings than you think you might see during winter. You can also get some really great photos on your phone at sunrise and sunset during winter, especially if it's frosty.

Australian here, currently it has been so rainy here too hahahah so this video is pretty relevant for me too. But if it isnt raining it is hot, so ive been loving my Ebike to get me up the hills without passing out

I'm a cross country rider who rides in my local forest (Epping forest) which has lots of trails but It's mostly hilly and fast fire roads. Most of it is gravel but there are some dirt sections. I usually don't ride in the winter but have been riding up to now and other than one really muddy section I'm surprised how good condition the forest is currently in. If this keeps up I'm probably going to ride the whole winter. Keep up the good work Gmbn!

Winter riding is bad here in southern Ontario. Mid-late fall and early spring are bilding season ⛏️ all that free water and cool working temps

winters pretty dry in west austrailia so a bit of rain is a welcome change to the loose pea gravel

I’m here in Denver and so many writers that I know just give up when winter comes. I just rode today and will continue to ride weekly.
