Have had a B&W hitch since 2004 pulling a 30 foot fifth wheel.
Got a toy hauler in 2015 and upgraded to the B&W slider hitch, best hitch out there by far !!

I'm a B&W employee and see/box these hitches every day, but it sure makes me feel proud to see them in action and see the wonderful reviews and how much easier/safer we can make hauling for the outside community. We absolutely take pride in every single thing we produce and work hard to make sure everything that goes out the door is the absolute best we can send our customers. Welcome to the B&W family!

as a long haul truck driver for several decades I can agree that the "Tug Test" is ultra important to test the connection. Remember everything rides on that one pin

I had a Reese 20K puck hitch on my 2016 F350 and same thing happened to mine. I always had a problem getting unhooked from the Reese hitch. It never wanted to release. To the point that someone had to be in the truck as pin was being pulled. The best thing I did was buy a 25K B&W hitch and it is much easier to hook up and unhook from.
You will love your B&W hitch.

I'm a 70-year-old female at the end of my first-year as a 5th wheel hauler (often by myself). I chose the B&W primarily because I had a B&W turnover ball (the best way to haul a gooseneck). I have had no problems and it is so very easy to connect and disconnect. I do need a little help carrying and re-installing the base if I take it out. When I see problems others have with various hitches I'm stunned but grateful I have the B&W.

When you have hitched thousands of times i would not say it is operator error. i think the hitch was going and you just helped it along. 47 years of diesel truck mechanic experience behind the comment.

We've had a B&W Companion for four years. It's been bulletproof for us!

I’ve helped multiple people with hitching and unhitching problems w/ Reese. B&W is super reliable, never an issue.

Reese used to be the name in hitches'i know guys who have them that have had trouble with them. One time it unhooked while towing. Maybe operator error. I have a B&W hitch for 10yrs. Never any problems. Double machined jaws. Fits perfect. Locks securely every time. I upgraded to a b&w slider. You can not go wrong with this hitch. Safe travels.

My very first 5th Wheel camper, a triple axle Momentum bought in 2019, and I mated it up with the B&W 25K Companion. It's now right at 6 years old and never, ever one single issue with that hitch. They are a beast and like you, I do a pull test every single time it get's hitched up. I always recommend the B&W to anyone that is looking for a new 5ver hitch.

I always take a look and make sure jaws are locked around pin also. easy to see the bright silver. Plus the tug test.

We also love our B&W 25k.. It has pulled our 42' for thousands of miles. We also learned from another YouTuber (the shot you showed) how important the tug test was. We never would never drive off without preforming one. Safe and happy travels.

When I saw the thumbnail my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach. I too have the M5 hitch, your channel is what helped me pick out this hitch (If it’s good enough for Chad it’s good enough for me). After watching the video my heart returned to where it was supposed to be as I saw it wasn’t a catastrophic failure out of the blue but a (oh crap, what did I just do) moment.

I don't need a tug test with the Goosebox pin box. I had your new set up from the beginning and hated the room it took from my bed. I have it on my 310GKR and I pull double with it from Grand Junction to Navajo Lake over 550, I have no issues no issues with it. I also use it over Douglass Pass for hunting. I am able to carry an extra 60 gallons of water in the bed, fire wood, generator and gasoline, when boon docking. The companion hitch is so damn heavy and takes up so much room. I will always recommend the Goosebox or Gen-y. Just for the room.

So even though we have a drivable rv, I still enjoy learning about other rv related topics and appreciate your solid teaching based on your experiences. 👍🏻

I have had B&W gooseneck hitches in my trucks since 2002. In 2005 I purchased my B&W companion hitch I have today and no I don't have the puck system. This hitch has served me very well over the years. If I needed a new hitch it would be a B&W . Over the years I have needed a few minor parts and all I did was call B&W and ordered directly from them. Decals and the rubber handel covers were no charge. I think you will be very pleased with your new hitch. We will be using our hitch again this year. Love your videos keep going and stay safe in your travels.

I like my Anderson hitch. Owned it almost 10 years w/ over 33k miles. Works and looks great.

Love our Anderson hitch. ❤ No pull test, no slipping, no jaws to lube. Drop it on and go, and 35lbs to pick up if I want to remove it. Been coast to coast three years in a row with zero issues.
