Tip: Don't do the TNT method in the basalt deltas as basalt is much more blast resistant than netherrack so you end up with smaller tunnels and much less debris is uncovered.

small tip for anyone: if you have mending, you don't need to constantly refill ur durability in the overworld. just farm the nether quartz. they give a good amount of exp and helps your pickaxe last a hella long time.

2:15 A tip to save TNT's: do this same method, but don't add TNT every 1 block. Leave 3 blocks of space for each tnt you place, so you save and the tunnel gets bigger. The only problem is that it takes a little longer for the tunnel to form, but it's worth it. Hope this helps!

"Start by enabling chunk borders"

Bedrock console players: Ight imma head out

Edit: Im impressed with the amount of poorly thought out responses Im still getting months later. It’s common knowledge at this point you can figure out chunk borders by doing math equations and lining yourself up on-top of those spot in game. You aren’t special by knowing this information.
The method of mining ancient debris shown in the video is only slightly faster than the bed method in theory because you can quickly see where chunk borders are without any effort in thinking . Doing the math and constantly making sure you are on borders increases the brain effort enough to make this method slow and bad.
Stop saying it, please :)

My tip: expose any quartz and leave it, only mine it when your pick needs to be repaired. That way the pick basically lasts forever (requires mending obviously).

Personally I just strip mine. Maybe not the most efficient, but it's relaxing.

A good rule of thumb that I find works well is to place one TNT every 3 seconds or 3 to 4 blocks, it saves resources and the TNT chains pretty reliably while still making a wide tunnel.
