Worst feeling being a cook 😔

Welcome to the channel 👋 I'm not a Chef and the "real" in my name is because my original TikTok name "Chef Thomson" was unavailable here! I live in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

I enjoy cooking and am hoping to become a Chef within the next 3-7 years. I've worked in the industry since July 2021 and have worked in 3 separate kitchen positions. My first job was as a Kitchen Helper at a golf club. My second position was a Line Cook and Porter at a pub. My most recent position is as a Short Order Cook at the Spruce & Iron Events restaurant which also services the Moncton Golf Club.

At the same link, you can use my code for 10% off site-wide at the Cooking Guild website.

As we all know, honesty is an expensive gift.
Lemme thank you also for being honest.

The most noticeable part of customer service is honesty and knowing when you're in the wrong. Thank you for doing your job while also being kind and honest about it.

I wish people would understand patience. A group of 30 people and you still managed to push out the order within 30 mins is outstanding bro. Keep doing what you’re doing brotha 💪🏽

Lesson Learnt: Always give the customer one less of whatever they have, and hand deliver it afterwards, so they feel indebted to you and want to come to the restaurant again.

What's worse is when the waitress messes up the order and you finish it all Fancy to her coming back saying she put the wrong one.😢

Good to know that there are some honest people around. I guess there is still some hope left in humanity.

Honestly, the pressure of knowing there's diners out there waiting on you can be so intense! Especially when it gets to the half an hour mark and they're still waiting. Respect to all the Chefs out there! 🙏

Something similar happened to a friend of mine when we were out a few weeks ago. Ironically, it was a wing as well. We were enjoying our food when the cook comes out of the back and hands my friend a wing saying he was one short on the order. My friend didn't notice it before and thanked the cook. Definitely made our night and shows the level of honesty and integrity the cook has

Lesson of the day: even if you didn't miss a piece of food, offer an extra piece to make them like you and come back again

Actually, one of the worst feelings is when you buy $22 nachos.
