How to Install PS3 HEN to ANY PS3 model! SaveMGO Guide

1. What you're going to need is the HFW download from the link in the description, and a USB Drive formatted into FAT32. I'll show you how to do that.

2. Plug in your USB drive to your computer. Then, right click the drive, and hit Format. Make sure it's set to FAT32. If this option isn't available, you'll need to do this on another software such as "rufus" to get FAT32 on it.

3. With your HFW files downloaded, Right click and hit "Extract Here" to get the HFW files we need. You should see a folder labeled "PS3". Once it's done, drag and drop the PS3 folder into your USB Drive.

4. Once the transfer is completed, plug in your USB drive to your PS3 system. You can install it using System Update on the home menu, but I recommend installing this via PS3 Safe Mode for the cleanest and safest installation.

5. To install it via Safe Mode, first turn off the PS3 System.

6. With the PS3 turned off, Push and hold the Power Button down for 15 seconds, it should turn on and then shut off by itself. Once it's turned off, you'll push and hold the power button again for 10 seconds, this time you'll let go after hearing two beeps. I'll post a video link in the description if you any of you guys need additional help getting here.

7. In the Safe Mode Screen, click System Update. Push START + SELECT to start the update. Follow the on screen prompts, to install HFW to your PS3.

9. Once completed, if you're doing this to install MGO, you're good to go! That's all it takes to prepare your system for PS3 HEN. Many users use PSN on this with no issues at all, but we still recommend just leaving it signed out to eliminate any possible risk in affecting your main account. MGO does not require PSN whatsoever.

I did everything in the video. No issues going through safe mode or the mgo website to download HEN, but when I exit the web browser I do not get any icon for HEN.

I just installed mgopc, but for some reason I can't host. I keep getting the "can't create in current network environment" error message. I've tried port forwarding, but that's not working either. My system requires a system software update. I don't need to do that, right? Doesn't a system update ruin a hen ps3? How can I fix the hosting issue?

I had hen 4.85 and it worked
then in the last week i've been having disconnect problems after each game section of about 10 minutes with message on restarting the launcher: couldm't resolve host name
restarting the network settings it starts working for another 10 minutes and the story repeats itself.
I thought of updating the system as in your video to 4.90 but now it doesn't work if the launcher and multiman.
if I try every time I have a black screen and the ps3 locked
how can i solve?

Ok, so I got the custom firmware on my PS3 but now Im having trouble with the mgops3 part where im supposed to put it in the PS3's web browser, but it just shows me some Google links : /

Hey thanks for the video, I got all the files to do this now, but I'm hesitating because I only have 1 PS3 and a not so great PC, I know not to use my main account if I was to ever use CFW or HFW but there is still a chance to get a banned account and console right? I am just worried my main account and all the games I got on it can get banned or the console itself.

Hey can I ask do you still need a copy of mgs4 or you can just get mgo2 separately via hen save mgo ?
