I grew up watching all of these legends. Part of getting older that sucks, maybe the most, is witnessing the passing of people who were at one time so full of life.

I was born in 75. Like many of you who have posted here, I grew up watching these two indescribably talented individuals. One made me laugh and the other made a 6 year old me, believe that a man could fly. I don't know why these two were taken from us. Maybe it was their time, maybe it was fate.. who can say. I do know that they were treasures in their respective professions and they both will be sorely missed for the rest of our collective lifetimes.

I will always remember when Robin showed up unexpectedly and delightfully at the old Hearst outdoor auditorium  at UC Berkeley  1977 as a surprise visitor along with Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and others- what a joy this man was and he shared himself with such fun and beauty;  I saw him a lot in the 1970"s in S.F. and have always adored him. I miss his antics, his humor and his good will.
