Children of Christopher Reeve speak on their losses after his death

Christopher Reeve's children, including ABC News' Will Reeve, share their journey through grief after the loss of their dad and Will's mom, Dana Reeve.

Christopher Reeve was Superman in more ways than he ever could've known . His wife Dana was Superwoman.

My friend and her son saw him in a park in Toronto sitting with his young son on a table/ bench. Her son was beside himself with excitement that Superman was just a few feet away. Mr Reeve smiled, got up and headed toward their table. Hi, he said. I’m Chris. And sometimes I’m Superman. I saw you and thought I’d come over and say hi. Her little boy ran over and threw his arms around him and he hugged back. He said I’d better get back over to my son now. Thanks for the hug. Be a good boy, Ok? He shook my friends hand and walked back to their table and soon they got up and left. What a champion. A really nice guy. It was a memory that was kept all through these years.

Her dying almost right after is sad af, and so young... losing a parent is hard but losing the 2 of them in less than 3 years has to be demolishing, even worse while being a kid, he's strong as hell too, and shout out to his olders sibilings for not leaving him alone

You can look at their children and know what amazing parents Christopher and Dana were. Three amazing people that are a gift to this world. Love never dies. Their parents must've been so proud.

Christopher Reeve's children are not only beautiful but also as kind in person as they appear in interviews. Alexandra was my brother's classmate at Yale before she went to law school, while he went to medical school. I met her during graduation; she is tall, beautiful, and genuinely lovely. She was a model in her teens when she live in London with her mom but decided to pursue an education instead of modeling. Notice that her brother, Mathew still has a slight British accent because he grew up in England before starting college in NYC.

I’ll never forget meeting Christopher at Dana’s high school reunion in 1999. She was full of positive energy and he was full of hope. His legacy will live on forever in science as will her love and devotion in our hearts. ❤

When I was a child my uncle that I idolized was in a car accident and became paralyzed from the neck down. Christopher Reeves inspired us so much to see his light still shining. The amount of grace this family handles everything is a true example of preserving human dignity and grace. Thank you.
