Christopher Reeve was one of the most humble man I have ever known. I had the great fortune of being his interpreter in 1985 when they were shooting Anna Karenina in Hungary and he played Vronsky. It was an utter joy working with him..

This is so heart warming. RIP Christopher Reeve. You were Superman both on and off screen.

Priceless sketch of Chris Reeve showing his comical side of a parody of himself ✨

Julia Louis-Dreyfus with that accent...hilarious. Christopher Reeve was an absolute treasure taken way too soon.

True story. Christopher Reeve mentioned practicing with his roommate. His roommate at Juilliard was none other than Robin Williams, who remained a close friend of Reeve's until his death.

Many, many people have already said but I'll say it again too - Christopher Reeve was the greatest Superman ever.

Christopher Reeve is EVERYTHING !
Handsome, Funny, Talented, Charming, Inteligent.
I just don't have words to describe how amazing human being he was. Rest in peace ✝️

Funny skit and concept made even funnier with Julia Louise- Dreyfus as a Brooklyn-sounding Lois Lane! After all these years nobody has thought to add her name to the credits in the description? She's a comedic legend!

Heartbreaking to see Christopher Reeve, able-bodied before that awful accident. Rest in peace.

He was the only Superman I knew as a child. He’ll always be Superman to me. RIP Christopher Reeve.

There will never be another Christopher Reeve. The one and only Superman. After all these years, I am still in awe of his appearance.

According to the film’s script consultant Tom Mankewicz, Warner Bros. was really impressed with his audition. They told Donner to absolutely go with him. He was a great Superman.

My mother broke her neck in a car accident, I took her to see Christopher in Hamilton Ontario after his accident. It was so motivating for her, and me. He died shortly after, even though my mother is paralyzed, he made a huge impact on her, I wish I could thank him.

I had a brief chat with Gary Kroeger about this skit. He said Chris Reeve was the kindest, humblest and most down-to-earth man he'd ever met.

that explains why he catches the bullet with his hand in the movie, he never did master the catching it in his teeth. Still the greatest Superman ever though!

I saw this skit when it aired live back in the 80s, and it absolutely floored me. Chris Reeve was such a great actor, both drama and comedy, and great in the action scenes, too. It's rare to find an actor who can do all three with such skill. He's still greatly missed.

The second guy caught the whole bullet with his teeth, I mean with the case and all.. Not just the projectile :D
