My takeaways:

1. Breath deeply and slow through your nose
2. When you start to get sick (usually tickling throat is the first symptom):
- do the Wim Hoff breathing exercise, it can help in preventing get sick
- cold shower
3. Morning routine tips:
- lots of water
- get out for 10 minute and get sunlight in da face
- delay caffeine for 90 to 120 min; this is way caffeine can cause the crush later on the day if assumed too early
4. If you feel bored, unstimulated, unfocused... a dopamine detox can reset your system

This one thing changed my life I believe meditation should be a practice we all do on a daily basis to have more energy and feel relaxed, totally changed my life. I gave up on it like 7 times but once I really understood what worked for me it became so powerful. I got rid of anxiety, low energy, boosted my self esteem and confidence. Wish you all an amazing 2022

I love the way Dr. Huberman inadvertently sprinkles spiritual nuggets in his explainations.
"Addiction is a progressive narrowing of the things that bring you pleasure. Enlightenment is a progressive expanding of the things that bring you pleasure."

So many interesting points:
- no dopamine = no motivation... explains why it's so hard for anyone with depression to pick themselves up.
- working out without music. I'd never thought of this before, but my favourite exercise is swimming. All I do is swim and breathe, for me it's like meditation.

Andrew is a full package! Smart, full of knowledge, calm, disciplined, fit, very attractive, looks like an easygoing and kind person. Real masculine man - in a good way.

For anyone who doesn't listen to Andrew's podcasts, I would strongly recommend them. He keeps it simple for the non-scientist but also throws enough out there if you want to do a deeper dive.

Andrew is one of my favourite guests that you have on here consistently.
He’s so well informed (for good reason), but down to earth, so it doesn’t come across condescending.

Another excellent interview. I’m just floored at how well you’re able to articulate yourself while maintaining your patience to give Andrew time to speak.

Night and day difference since the first interview. I’m so proud of you and equally inspired at your progress, Lewis.

For people like me, who don't get excited at all when seeing a made bed 🙂, I have an idea. Showering in a spotless shower is like heaven 😍😍😍 Dry it after each shower, don't care if I'm late for work, or I'm totally done late in the evening after my workout. The reward is priceless 😉

You are 2 heros. You are helping untold numbers of people. HUMILITY and humanity are what you don't TALK about, but exhibit in your states of being and thereby connection. State of giving (and receiving, developing the Creator's gifts) is LOVE. Thank you for loving others and yourselves.

Wow - @1:03:00+, 3 - 6 minutes of cold water exposure = hours of long-tail dopamine exposure. This is a good thing!
That explains why I feel so much better after a shower :)

In the am I wake up to an alarm with David Goggins speaking to me, then immediately put in my headphones and listen to some sort of inspiration and get ready and go to the gym. Changed my life. 4 am every day.

Lewis, Thanks so much for bringing to our attention, Andrew Huberman. I am really grateful. I keep studying People like this to help me have a great old age. I’m 68 years old and I want to see 120.
Andrew is an amazing instructor. A Clear voice, not speaking too fast and repeating things that are hard to learn. Lewis, you can really see the best in people!

56:05 I have ADHD but I love it. It is hard to focus on things that aren't interesting. It's been hard finding a job that i feel comfortable with. I just started at advance auto parts as a salesman I hope thats a good place to learn from as well.
