About time this company cares about customers that’s really good after six month automatically unlocking customers devices is the best ever. every other single companies doing it because if you pay full price for the device or was free because you brought your number from another carrier is more than fair to have it automatically unlock up to 60 days thank you!!! 👍🏻

Do you have to have the service plan active with straight talk in order to unlock it? I switched over to another carrier and they said the message they got is I got to wait 60 days to be able to use it on another network.I bought the phone outright, shouldn't I own it?

I have had this phone almost 3 years and it's still not unlocked. I asked them to unlock it on Thursday and they told me they would send me an e-mail on Tuesday with instruction on how it well be unlocked. They stink!!

So I bought my son a prepaid straighttalk phone in December. I never "activated" it because I bought it with the sole purpose of using it on Wi-Fi only. Can I still unlock it? Will it automatically unlock? Or do I need to activate it first? There's never been service on this phone.
