I’ve got a couple year old LG on bottom on back. Pressed that and up volt button until my fingers wanted to fall off and screen goes black and finally retro to screen still wanting sign in?

The phone doesn’t have the top portion of the options you mentioned. Bootlegger and recovery mode are the options. When I press recovery mode it says no command. The Android guy is laying down with a red hazard symbol

I notice you say that the process allows you access to everything on your phone again. But a Factory Reset wipes all of it out ! I'm confused.
