You have to think about this...Pre genshin era very little would play these games. Of course its gonna be compare to genshin...Just like every soulslikegame, fps, mmo etc. It just Mihoyo has set a high bar that not many other gacha games would put the effort in. Kurogames has high expectation to meet.

This rivality it's even dumber than console wars, I'm so sick of it, not just GI and WW. Players also try to generalise and label which game fandom is more toxic like the gacha community wasn't that diferent from one another.

For Wuwa to completely beat Genshin Kuro needs to put a ragdoll physics on the enemies especially the humanoid ones, so every time you kill an enemy they'll just get blow away instead of doing the same animation.

I wish more people understood that while it is true that there will be audience overlap, there's also a lot of us for whom this is just something else, i have 0 interest in Genshin but i really want to play WuWa. I'm sorry for saying this because i know not all of them are like that, but it all comes down to GI's community being toxic and gatekeeping about anything that shares elements with their game, they really think miHoYo invented the anime RPG and only they can make this type of game...

Imagine if this happened in the Soulslike community, games like Lies of P would have never had a chance, or the Metroidvania community, we wouldn't have things like Hollow Knight, Ender Lilies or Blasphemous.

I see gacha games like anime. Just because a new anime has come out, it doesn't devalue the animes I have watched and enjoyed.

Also, I play them as if I'm watching a weekly anime. I just play them when there is something new to do. If there isn't, then I do something else.

No gacha game can ever be a Genshin killer because Genshin has already invested tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of players into its world, story, or characters. People will play Genshin just for that continuation alone and you don't need money to be able to experience that. WuWa could be a much better game than Genshin but just because it is better, doesn't make Genshin worse (than it already is).

People are still playing FGO despite there being much better games out now. And that's because they are invest into the story, characters, and of course, their accounts.

We need competition for Genshin so it can and has to improve.
WuWa looked like a game that could be competition, but after CBT2 and the Special Program confirmed, it only wants to be played alongside other gachas instead of being the second big open-world gacha that reaches for genshins throne.

Worst case would be if ZZZ would be a rival to WuWa instead of Genshin

Glad i dropped genshin for wuwa

As an AR 60 theres nothing to grind anymore new domain, bad rolls, resin cap too low, no end game content ( you need to wait 2 weeks 😂😂), lame reptitive events its nothing anymore new exploration sure but it gets old pretty quickly unskippable long dialogues that majority of the player doesnt care about ar 60 rewards is soo poor despite getting to Ar 60 process is soo long anniversary yhat flops 3x in a row devs don't listen to the feed back. This is my take im genshin

For wuwa yes its still in the early state feed backs where taken seriously yes we will expect problems in the future but for now focus more on the present update.

I always get surprised at how many times i've seen anime-rpgs die because of the fanbase complaining they were too greedy or non-f2p-friendly, when genshin is literally the worst example

You may think of Wuthering Waves as the sequel to Genshin Impact which makes a lot of sense but takes place way in to the future some of the characters of Genshin Impact are dead, some are reincarnated as a new character life and some are still alive by becoming immortal but started to evolve very slowly like for example like Xiao from Genshin Impact is the only left alive but then later grew up very slowly and evolved into Jiyan from Wuthering Waves
