I like genshin's slow pace exploration though fr.
My life has been too fast pace and I need help from other things to calm and slow me down. Genshin is one of the place that remind me to slow down, breath, and enjoy the moment for a while.

After playing wuwa since the day 1 release I don't think I'll go back on Genshin anymore since wuwa has it better and the things players needed and wanted for 4 years.

Although i felt dragged through the story for the first part so far and dont feel compelled by most of the female characters save for Baizhi (which is particularly rough since they're the ones you primarily interact with at the start) WuWa's gameplay is the first time i ever played a game almost entirely for the gameplay tbh. Like, it just feels so good. The running, climbing, parkour, backflips, the DODGING omg i love the didge mechanics. And the echo mechanic was unexpected!! The echo thing almost reminds me of pokemon which was a major interest of mine for agessss. So ive been having fun, and im hoping the writing improves. I hear they did a lot of rewrites and there mightve been something with the dubbing team, so Im hoping things will be more solid going forward.

I also admittedly dislike most of the adult female character designs (they feel a lot less interesting than the mens' - pretty but not much else while men are allowed more accessories and less form-fitting things like loose jackets or pants that give a lot of flair) but that's just gatcha game culture lmao. I think I'll at least get used to them over time.

Anyways thanks for letting me ramble. Looking forward to seeing where wuwa goes with yall

I play both rn but building characters in genshins seems more difficult which i enjoy more cuz i attach to that character more, and wuwa might be just a bit too much in terms of combat. I play games to relax not to have my screen flash 100 combos and swaps and animations. I just press 4 buttons on genshin then auttoattack ti death with my wanderer. Simple, looks good and not stressing. Games are supposed to be relaxing especially a non competitive gacha game

genshin movement is more on realistic side. like climbing, it did do the climb action instead of walking. I guess that's what genshin's devs trying to achieve

Yup i stop playing genshin bcs the climbing is really slow. I still remember playing genshin straight 24 hour non stop.
