I have been seeing similar dumbbells on workout channels forever, and have always wondered how they work. Well, obviously not enough to actually look it up, but I am glad your video has come up on here. :) I don't live in the US, so shipping would probably be ridiculously high but you have made me look into something similar in the EU since I, too, live in a one-bedroom apartment which I don't want dumbbells to take over. This was a great video, I bought mine for 330 dollars off Bow Flex website and its been over a month and I still don’t have them 😕. How long did yours take to ship ?

Is it possible to use lifting straps with the Bowflex dumbbells ? The main issue I think would be that when you need to tightly grip the straps, you rotate the dumbbell, but the Bowflex has uneven weight distribution and always must be held with the red handle at the top. Has anyone tried lifting straps ?

I’ve had the series 2 for close to 9-10 years... They are very good until you drop them.... I dropped one about waist high (I’m 6’2) my left one hasn’t been the same since😢... it drops one or two weight plates randomly during pressing. Not good... Bowflex offers no help whatsoever... Don’t drop them ever or they will become useless.. At least I had them for 10 years before my mishap.. Hope you keep them for a long time.. stay safe..👍
