300 BLACKOUT DROPS WILD BOAR!

Billy Jake and Doug are headed towards the Red River to hunt feral hogs. They are meeting up with Kevin McCullough. The day is super hot and the boys wait out the summer afternoon tucked in a blind. It isn't long and Billy Jake gets right in the middle of the action. He has chose a 300 BLACKOUT to take out these hogs in close quarters. He squeezes off on a huge Oklahoma Boar.
Fall hunting season is approaching and we cannot wait to create more hunting videos. We will be in pursuit mode all fall. We can hunt feral hogs year round and we have plenty of them around here to chase. Feral hogs also are great to eat.

Nice shooting! The only time I don't hit the head is if they're on the run, but at that, I'm still leading and going for the head shot. I don't shoot much on the run because only shooting small caliber 17WMS. The other 7.62 I'll take the running shots with that because I know they'll go down. I also try to take sows because of their reproduction rate. As for the boar meat, I harvest the back straps and hams and make into dog food.

Finally got an 300 blackout upper for a lower I already had. Was going to let my dad use it since it’s light weight and should drop deer an hogs. I figure I’ll keep using the bigger 308 version for now if dad don’t like the 300 blackout then I’ll try an use it

My real name is Michael McCluskey. I'm in Canton Ohio. I'm not a hunter by nature. but when I lived out in the rural country in Holmes County Ohio, I did use a 22 cal rifle to hunt squirrels and rabbits for meat. I also hunted groundhogs for farmers who were having crop damage from groundhogs. I would get $1 or $2 for each one I killed from the farmers.
