I mean… in order to make the public believe that the officer was in the right, at least show the full video from even before they opened the door to at least see what he was reaching for or dropping by the center console.

Otherwise, its just another unwarranted abuse of power by the cop. So now one cant even be parked somewhere and filming inside their vehicle because you will have guns pointed at you for not doing any criminal activity?

That’s what happens when you put insecure little men in a position of authority

How can yal back up these officers. They are the menace. This man was just relaxing In his car minding his own business and comparing him to a criminal. You know why; because you see the color of his skin before you see his action and assume because he’s black that he’s a criminal.

With crime running rampant and criminals being released back into the streets I could care less what cops do to criminals anymore.

Of course only post part of the video. No need to see what happened before.

Definitely need more context. Show the full video, provide background information. These are critical pieces of an investigation required to make an educated conclusion. From what I’ve seen, the deputy only used lethal force when the suspect began reaching towards the center console/gear shifter area, which would make sense why he tells the driver to not put the car in drive. The only reason he’d put the cad in drive is to drive away, which would’ve ran over the deputy.

I don't blame those deputies at all for being extra cautious after the Riverside Deputy ambush. These guys want to go home to their families, too.

Where is the full video? Post it on its own with no commentary...

Given the ambush shooting of the Riverside deputy last week by a wanted motorist, I do not blame any officer for being extra cautious and taking command of the situation and making it clear to a suspect they will dropped if they make the wrong move. Criminals nowadays are much more likely to react violently then ever before. Also, notice the driver followed instructions and in the end was not harmed.

What is the name of the deputy holding the gun. Is it Tai Plunkett? 8 years ago Plunkett walked up to a guy parked during the day and drew his gun and pointed it at the drivers head. The driver sued and lost the case.

Gosh !! What's wrong with these cops ?!

Based on how things can turn bad quickly I think the deputy owned the situation. I have no problem with how the deputy handled himself and the encounter. Great job deputy!

Training standards? What’s that mean ? Let the criminal shoot you first before you shoot them or have probable cause to shoot or draw your weapon ?

LASD: After reviewing all videos and interviewing all involved, we came to the conclusion the suspect was black and all actions were justified

I've seen countless videos of Officers getting shot exactly like this when the person is uncooperative.

I don't see an issue, isn't it common for Rappers to carry and shoot each other?

Thank God the cops have to wear body cameras now, or who knows what would have happened. At the very least he came away from sitting in his car alive
