we do not receive the Free Gift of Salvation by Asking or by Prayer. But rather, simply by Believing.

We receive Salvation by Believing on The Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12; Acts 16:31). Hence, it is not believe and ask, or Believe and receive, it is simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That is how one receives the Free Gift of Salvation.
Furthermore, when a personal worker is telling a lost sinner that they must Ask God to save them, that actually could bring in doubt. Because Asking "will you save me, God?" Implies that God may not save you. But the truth is, God does want to save them, He is offering them the Free Gift, all He requires of that person is for him to accept His Free Gift by Faith. It is simply by Faith Alone in Christ Alone.

Yes you are correct. Because the gift is consistently being offered to all of us during this age of grace. It is up to us to seize the free gift. What that means is our full faith in him as Lord and Savior. The problem is there are so many fence dwellers who put 80% into Jesus and 20% into themselves. God doesn’t work that way you are either 💯 Jesus and you nothing. If you are not in this camp get on board the water is nice! The window is closing stop trusting any amount in yourself and enjoy the fruits of salvation of the living water that is given!

I was telling people the gospel in a comment section for an Asbury video and giving verses that prove are eternal security and one person said I was a pharisee while another said I hated Jesus. Not gonna lie it kind of pissed me off but I kept my cool and buried them in scripture. The gospel is so simple and it makes me sad that people complicate it so much.

Jesus said to believe in Him over and over again in the gospel of John, while Jesus said to ask Him in one passage. WWJD? He would tell people that the one who believes in Him has everlasting life!
