Cell Phone Direct to Satellite | T-Mobile Space-X Rumors AND MORE

I'm breaking down all the upcoming and current direct cellphone to satellite options. Right now the biggest and easiest option from Apple. iPhone 14 and newer have access to the emergency SOS mode. SOS mode allows you to text emergency services, with calling upgrades coming soon. In the near future carriers themselves will support satellite connectivity. Verizon and AT&T are partnering with the same company, AST SpaceMobile, to get satellite cellphone connectivity off the ground, and T-Mobile is partnering with Starlink/Space-X... and Space-X says their direct to cellphone technology will be ready this fall, 2024 in SEPTEMBER.

Not only do you have to hold the phone where the cellular antenna is pointing at the clear sky but right now you do have to be outside in order to use it, I do have to cellular phone and a satellite phone as well, and starlink company has also said that you have to be outside and have a clear sky or it won't work

So how many ast satellites are up an operating? ...besides test satellites. Starlink 6426 with over 100 connect to phones!

Met with a T Mobile executive. He told me they are being sued by other phone companies because of Starlink. I think it was something to do with tower sharing.

I'll give you credit where most miss ast completely you got a solid amount right where many don't. You should look into how Starlink is having major issues getting approved commercially from the fcc bcuz thier design is flawed & causes too much interference to existing networks. They can solve interference by bringing down the power levels of the constellation but what we will get is sos texting maybe a bit more or the FCC forces a redesign. Ast Spacemobile after just 30-50 bluebirds will provide broadband 4g-5g internet, voice, data transfer directly to your phone & it doesn't cause interference. Because of its design & positioning it will also cut through foliage & buildings making it work indoors. They just launched there first 5 commercial satellites into orbit a follow up to this video would be well received. Don't take my word for it look into it deeper it's a fantastic story.

So this Skylink / T mobile partnership will only be beneficial for when you're outside and have a direct line of sight to a satellite. Hey, I am NOT complaining since it's better than nothing but let's not get so crazy with excitement.
