This video shows the Starlink satellites train seen from earth. Starlink is the name for a satellite constellation that was constructed by Elon Musk in order to provide fast satellite Internet access. The constellation will consist of several thouasands of small starlink satellites in low Earth orbit, which will work together.

And there was me thinking space started ABOVE the clouds. Now I feel silly. 😂

Starlink is a constellation of thousands of satellites that orbit the planet much closer to Earth than other satellites, at about 550km, and cover the entire globe. Starlink satellites are in a low orbit. The gen 1 Starlink satellite is 2.8 meters long by 1.4 meters wide, while the Gen 2 is more than double the Gen 2 In length and width.
Most passenger aircraft fly at altitudes of 37 000 to 41 000 ft (11 to 12.5 km) and some ever higher. Despite their size, seeing the aircraft with the naked eye in the day at that altitude is not possible. If they do not show contrails (white vapor trails) one would have difficulty to see them at their cruising altitude.
Regarding the size of the satellites: max length = 5.6m and 2.8 m wide, compared to the A380 = Length, 72.73 m ; Wingspan, 79.80 m.
Therefore, seeing the starlink satellites in the day I would say is not possible. Seeing them at night as have, is purely due to the reflection of light at that altitude.
If you watch the video you would notice that the satellites travel through the cloud base and at times lower than the clouds. These types of clouds at 550km, I wonder.

The Height of Clouds
Level Polar Region Tropical Region
High Clouds 10, 000-25, 000 feet (3-8 km) 20, 000-60, 000 feet (6-18 km)
Mid Clouds 6, 500-13, 000 feet (2-4 km) 6, 500-25, 000 feet (2-8 km)
Low Clouds Surface-6, 500 feet (0-2 km) Surface-6, 500 feet (0-2 km)

Thus this is a load of
but tx for amusing us.

Just reading the title and watching the video kills neurons

At this height we can safely say, everyone can visit the ISS with a jetpack on their back😂

340 miles up ? 1.8 million feet? Planes fly at 30, 000 and we can barely see them. What am I missing?

creepiest thing i ever saw at dusk was 40 lights shooting across a low orbit in a straight line. Took me a few minutes to figure out what it was.

Orbit is 340 miles (550 km) but they are under the clouds :)

I love how the objects vanish from frame periodically, like the frame cuts weren't even attempted to be hidden

Those must be some incredibly high clouds.

They are in LCO orbit ( Lower than Clouds Orbit)

If you happen to be at the summit of Mt Everest when those satellites pass over, you can plug them out of orbit or hitch a ride on top of one of them.

Amazing, the satellites even have cloaking devices and propellers for low altitude fly-bys!

Man, the orbital speed limit is pretty low in their neighborhood!

Interesting, I just looked over a list of Starlink launches and I didn't see one that only launched 32 satellites.

Those ion thrusters must be incredibly powerful! 😀

That’s Billy Bob flying his kite. With an aluminum foil train behind it. It’s good for tv reception!

Nicely shaped silver balloons, the camerman did a good job making it look like it was so high

Heck, even ULA should be able to get them that high.
