Murder Suspect Escaping From Courthouse Caught on CCTV Footage

CCTV footage shows the moment a murder suspect in Washington County, Oregon, bolted from the courtroom. The 28-year-old man, who was facing charges for allegedly stabbing another man to death in 2021, made his escape seconds after the deputy removed his arm and leg restraints — an act required under Oregon law.

Though the suspect was successful in making it out of the courthouse, authorities did locate him hiding in a nearby apartment shortly thereafter, per local affiliate KPTV.
