I’m surprised that you don’t list one of the symptoms that made my work life uncomfortable for decades: feeling cold! I was always about 10 degrees off from my co-workers. If they were comfortable, I was freezing. If they were uncomfortably warm, I was perfect. At the end of an air-conditioned day of work, I would hasten to get into my car that had sat in the sun all day, and sink blissfully into the very warm cushions. My usual comment was, “Ah! Now I feel human again!”
Now retired, I won the battle of the thermostat decades ago. I sit only a few feet from the thermostat, which is always set at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband simply has to remove layers upstairs, plus I gave him a fan. This is what I require for comfort, function, and good health. And before anyone says, why don’t you just put on a sweater, I will point out that a sweater gets in the way of washing dishes. And, in fact, I have a cardigan in the kitchen that I wear much of the time!

Dr. Gupta thank you for your videos. You are the one I watch for my thyroid problems. I've been 9n Levothyroxine for 23 years. As a nurse, I have to insist on what tests I get. For example, I had to insist on the antibodies test and ultrasound. Besides the T3, T4 and TSH, which tests are indicated for a more accurate testing of Hashimotos.

Dear doctor i had so much stress and more long distance trips in very small amount of time and an infection and cough. After that i started to be so weak in legs and neck and arms, my mitocondrias are not so well. T3 is 3.9, and t4 is 1.56. I didnt do the antobodies, will do. Thank you!! But i start all this symptoms are very dificult! The convential doctor told me he thinks i have hws, and anothet one funiculaire myelosis
