Shit, I'm stilling using 7th gen Intel Core. I can run the best of the best video games, but can't run Windows 11?

Thank you Microsoft for making my OC 7700k obsolete when you said your last OS was the last OS.

Embarrassing when Apple supports their phones longer than Microsoft does my PC.

The intro to this video put a smile on my face. "Well you see chap..."

All I’m saying is that steam has increased Linux compatibility of a lot of games and a lot of what people do outside gaming is browser based, soo...

As a i7 5820k owner, it's hard to justify W11 since I need to replace a perfect function CPU (currently using for gaming and some basic work).
And with the super crazy prices on Brazil, I will stick with W10.

I've been running Windows 11 for a month or so on my Lenovo legion 5 4800H. It's great except for some reason my boot time tanked from like 3 seconds to over 60s and I lost about 25% CPU performance (as tested in CB R23). RIP.

Wasn't there updates to CPU scheduling in Windows 11 that could have affected the power draw? Maybe these changes are only visible on supported CPUs.

Imagine having a still great cpu like i7 4790k, eaisly getting 100+ fps with Ray Tracing enabled in Doom Eternal and Windows 11 is like: No! No! I'm not impressed. Go to trash! 🤨

Wouldn't mind seeing it on something older. I have a HTPC my wife and I use for gaming on the couch, its using an older 4790k with a gtx 980.

Would be interesting to measure things like overall system latency, input lag, frame time, etc. a smoother experience is usually better than just higher fps.

Windows 11 its a downgrade of Windows 10, considering the regression of the start menu and taskbar and the higher requirements for me its like the baby of vista and 8... unnecesary forced ui decisions and not supporting zen 1 and intel 7th or 6th gen its just ridiculous.

I recently started watching your videos...and I'm glad I did. Views wise you are not too big compared to some bigger tech creators but what they don't have unlike you is the heart in your videos...keep up the content!

Windows 11 feels like your playing an emulator on games normally run great under windows 10, I think they are throttling non supported hardware, Ie people who bypass it, 2 weeks on it, going back to windows 10 or 7, Games loose out by 35% performance, Big shame, More people will just go linux or stay on older windows.

the one thing I hate most about Windows 11 so far (I'm on Windows 11 Pro): Task bar cannot be moved or resized without a registry edit

Its nice that my Threadripper 1920x(designed to run and improve AI) can't run windows 11 even with an external tpm module

I'd be interested in something older. I have an fx-8350 in the living room. I know friends still rocking old Athlon II CPUs, working flawless with windows 10. Even though they are unsupported, will they work and are there any hassles you need to live with or should be aware of with these ancient platforms?
