I've still got my iphone 4S which I can't use due, to the battery is broke and. That I can't switch on the phone, I would like to get it fixed at some. Point though to retrieve the photos, and videos I've got on there still.

I mean being one version behind won’t last that long . So are you saying you gotta sell the phone once you get 2 versions behind ? Honestly iPhone become so cheap by the time they are not getting updates anymore . That’s a good thing tho . I recently bought a iPhone XS from backmarket 2 weeks ago and just bought another one for the wife and waiting for it to come . The xs an Xr are basically same price on backmarket so why not choose the XS I n my opinion even though I literally almost bought the Xr for the wife because they are basically the same phone with some different features but it wasn’t enough to justify buying the XR .

the answer is NOPE 👎. you should never use a outdated iPhone. Save yourself the trouble too many phones out there that are affordable and support the latest version of iOS. It’s personally something I would never do but to each they own .

I have an Iphone X and it's only shit because it's so fragile. Now we're on iOS 17 but my phone is on iOS 16, the Iphone X no longer updates
