What is a Startup? Isn’t it just a regular business? That is a question I get a lot - in this video, we look at what a Startup is and how Startups are different from a regular business or a lifestyle business. In the video, Startups are Explained.

Most businesses are traditional businesses, not startups. They are lifestyle businesses that make a good living for the people involved. Startups are something else and that is what we’re going to define in this video.

The first difference between a Startup and a regular business is how much you invest in the early stages of the business.

What is your opinion about Raising vs Bootstraping?
Many entrepreneurs work 99% trying to raise money instead of selling something, sometimes they get the money and burn it very fast.
I don't know if it only happens in my country that entrepreneurs think that the nost important goal is to raise money and appear in the news.

I am currently developing my application on my free time while working as an Engineer for a great Swedish company. I have hired a smart young programmer that helps me develop the app. I am planning on funding my application on my own and trying to avoid having to include investors. Is this a wise idea? Unfortunately it's my first "business" so I have limited experience in the field of entrepreneurship.

So, I have a question. What is it called if I don't have the trademark yet or a business license? It's just called an idea, right? But no money for advertisement, or to build the product. How do I get money with no business license when I am living literally paycheck to paycheck? Working 3 jobs. Most of all if I don't want people stealing my idea.
