So basically all of the above mentioned "young" and "awesome" startups failed to take off. This possibly hints at the failure of the accelerators to help any startup to take off. These self proclaimed accelerators are doing more harm than help to these young people. Most of the ideas they select don't solve a consumer problem and are just solutions looking for problems.
It's high time startups evaluate what really in success of it. And it boils to solving a pressing need for the customers, now and here. It's not about MIT degrees, cool offices or media attention, or Networking. It's about helping real human beings with getting something they want. Not showing off your fake technology prowess, which these vanity startups do and are rather advised to do.
Accelerators should open their eyes and move towards making some good startups. Or maybe they don't care .
