Indians are way too pessimistic and critical of their ideas. They think big but a lot of people discouraging young entrepreneurs.

They tell them that their idea isn't going to work and to give up to pick a safer option.

But Indian entrepreneurs should take the risk and not fall for the crab mentality and should focus on what's important and make a big change.

My father said a line "Bhagat Singh sabko chahiye par apne Ghar se nahi" .
It explains this all😊😊

Indians have always been against taking risks and opting for government jobs all the time.
Look where it has led us, there are no jobs left, a million people competing for a thousand number of job.

That’s actually really true and I feel somehow its part of the Indian culture. From childhood every Indian parents wants their child to have a SAFE future. Its not a bad thing but taking risks comes with a lot of backlash from the family and the society even if you have chances of improving your career. So it really discourages the person to go a different way.

They don't comment like that on their own idea.
They comment like that out of jealousy.

a genuine proper criticism from the west for a change which is actually quite refreshing. whether i agree or not is a different matter but apreciate the attempt for a genuine feedback with the motive of promoting innovation and developement.

Kids born after 2000 are much more risk taking than earlier generation. Many of them are taking professions like YouTube, gaming, travel vloggers, online jobs. This is not limited to urban areas alone. Many of my fav YouTube travellers are from rural areas and they are travelling the world.

When you are worried about survival maintaining status quo is preferred over revolutions

Well, you said it right. Me, as an Indian is not ashamed of this fact that we don't encourage innovations here. We just discourage people. Everybody wants job here but nobody wants to create jobs. We have to switch our mentality.

This is accurate, .. Indians don’t criticise their own ideas they criticise everyone else’s ideas in name of critical thinking. Motivation to do this are age old if I was not able to do this no one else must be able to do this.

This is so freakin true. I am an Indian engineering student and I can say that literally each and everyone in my college whether male and female are critical of each other. This mentality has risen due to the competitive environment in our homes and schools. We are always jealous of other people, we are never happy for someone else. Indians might be one of the most hospitable people on the planet but we are also one of the most critical and selfish people on Earth.

I agree on every single thing you said...
The thing is.. the old generation cannot let go of their way of thinking... And this is affecting the young generations too...
Even if some of the young people try to make their own decisions.. their parents won't let them do it.

Bro it's absolutely true ! I saw a reel about the Benguluru based startup MinusZero, who had released an AI based self - driving bus zPod . However, they were filled with negative comments criticizing how the roads are bumpy and it wouldn't work on Indian roads .
