Excellent video!

You are a man of excellence!
I knew it before you loaded up the pickup truck, but then you even tied everything up so that the boxes would not fly away!

I was even talking to myself as I saw you working.

"Okay, I'll buy my first router!"
I said it after you removed my fear of routers.

I am trying to get organized. I think I do have a jigsaw and a sander somewhere in the garage, the shed, or at the neighbor's house.

:)

Excellent video!

Thank you.

P.S. You even know how to add music to your videos!

You are very up to date.

Do enjoy your retirement.

Hey, I found this video looking for CD crate ideas. Good tips for batching these out. I grew up in Marietta and went to Sprayberry. I shop for records every weekend, so need to visit your booth in that shopping center. It's built on the site of the old Cobb Co Skating Rink I used to go to. lol

Awesome, I moved to kennesaw 3 years ago and haven't regretted it one bit. I play on checking out that specific store to do a little record shopping, hope to see one of your crates there. Still working up the courage to build one myself.

Once again another great video Thanks Larry. and Kudos on the way you transported the crates. (strapping them down in the bed of the truck) What drives me insane is going to the local wood place, and seeing guys picking up lumber, hanging out the back end of their truck and absolutely no ropes tie downs, and sure enough when I get thru and head home there they are along side the road picking up their lumber, after it took out someone's windshield etc. Again kudos on that one Thanks for sharing.

While you're working, you probably don't notice the lovely bird song in the background, but I find it a wonderful accompaniment to your videos! (I almost didn't notice the 'noise' until you mentioned it!)---Uff da, writing on your hand...drives me nuts!

excellent work bro. i've only ever seen one other of those shop smiths before but it was not in near as great condition as yours is. well done on the acquisition. yes they are great just need to watch fingers when using the table saw. bit dicey. unfortunately though beards make a dust mask pretty much useless but use it anyway it has to catch some of the dust right? those crates are great and with just a little more work cutting quarter inch thick plywood to fit inside can make them very strong boxes to store whatever you want. thanks heaps for the video.

Nice simple build. Well thought out. What type and length nail are you using for this?

Just cut a small 45 on your stop and no sawdust builds up . Cheers J

Hello, good to see ya. I have been in the furniture business in one way or another all my life. I was raised in it, my family had 4 retail stores, and a small mfg. co. We made upholstered furniture, this was in the 60's. In my 20's in the 70's, I did repair and wholesale to used/new retailers. The 80's was good for Antique wood furniture, In the 90's I became an auctioneer, which I still am, times have changed a bunch. I was wondering how bizz is in your area, In Colorado furniture is very slow, low values for the most part, the worst I have ever seen. Hope all is well for you and your Family.

Dude, these crates are to be had for free, out back of any bodega or corner store.
