Most of the homes in town are on the National Historic Register. There is no other place like it on earth. Trust me. The Log Cabin Steakhouse is the best of the best.
The story of Galena is awesome. THE HOMES. Built in the 1800's still standing and magnificent. Well worth the trip.

My fiancée is from galena. The log cabin has some amazing food. The people that own the log cabin own gobbies as well right down the street. Excellent food as well
