Chef Francisco is most chef looking chef I've ever seen

I had the pleasure of working at the HOPR between high school and college and there was never a dull night. From celebrities coming in nightly—Chuck Norris is an amazing tipper, Tia Tequila is a hot mess—to all sorts of wild happenings with folks who’ve enjoyed a martini or two over their limit, there was always some unbelievable story that I got to go home with. Slowest night while I was there was just shy of 200 covers and the busiest were 4th of July and Fathers Day which came in around 1, 500. A true SF institution.

An evening at the House of Prime Ribs is always special. What a magical place!
This is possibly the first time anyone's managed to film inside their kitchen. Thank you!

For those out there who’ve worked in a small restaurant that does prime rib, you all know how awesome it is after a rush to get an end or “extra” piece and devour it. Then it’s back to work. Lol

As a Brit I don't know this place but I love these old school places. Fewer than ever survive. Their technique is intriguing and the guys seem great.

I have been many times from the time I was little kid with my grandparents and sister. My Grandparents took us to so many places: restaurants, museums, the San Francisco ballet's "Nutcracker" before Christmas, to "the Islands ", and vacations.
I miss them so much. They were so kind and thoughtful to my sister and me, and to our mom.

Chef Francisco looks like one of those chefs whom you see in Disney movies.

Glad to see the iconic House of Prime Rib on this channel. Only been a few times in my life but it's a great place for special occasions. Happy to still see them do well after all these years.

If you haven't been there in San Francisco, you're missing out. My friend recommended that restaurant decades ago and we hadn't expected to get reservations on the day that we got in, but we did. It was the best Prime Rib, with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach that I still remember the meal 4 decades later. Great place and I hope they stay open until I get to go again.

Amazing video showcasing the best restaurant ever. My wife go there during the holidays yearly. It’s become our tradition and we love it. Almost tearing up watching this and can’t wait until December.

What a pleasant surprise to see House of Prime Rib! I had such a memorable dinner there almost 30 years ago as a college student and to this day, I still think it’s the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Glad to see it’s still in business and hope to return someday.

I’ve been going to the house of prime rib for going on 30 years now! The experience never gets old or dulls. In a town of great culinary it still stands out! Never disappoints. I always left wondering how they prep and season the meat because from the first to the last bit the prime rib is amazing. If anyone knows what magic they do, please share it with the rest of us lol.

It has lifted my spirits just to think there are places like this out in the world - they do it with love and pride! Love the host too!

LOVE house of prime rib. we’ll line up around 3:30pm to get a seating on the weekend. you’ll see all types there - rich, older couples enjoying a nice dinner, families who have been coming for generations, teens splurging on a prom night. you won’t find a better prime rib for the price!

One of my hobbies is knife sharpening for friends and family. Th knife the carver is using at around 6:29 has so much metal loss in the centre from sharpening. I love it! That knife is always sharp and always in use. A pleasure to see a craftsman so skilled. great video
