That last tip. Unless you are in a buffet with strict no leftover policy, never hesitate to take your leftovers home. You paid for it and it's your food.

I lived in SF 25 Year's
ago and that place is a staple. Back then it was what it was. A good place to go for prime rib. But since the Internet, is blown up like crazy and there's so much content about it. Good for them.

Medium rare prime rib is my favorite with horse radish sauce, baked potato with everything and house made cole slaw❤❤❤

TLDR: Don't fill up on the sides as the complementary second slice they gave you near the end of the meal cannot be taken to go.

Yes to the leftovers! I take the bread and butter home as well lol. The butter’s so good!

I usually do my Christmas shopping the night before Christmas. So if I make a reservation here, I just need to do it two days before I actually wanna go? Got it!

I like my meat medium rare, so pink in the middle, but what never attracted me to prime rib was the lack of a crust. Great tip that you can get it seared for a bit too, thanks😉👍

It's a great place to bring visitors from out of town. There's no opulent decor or fancy preparations, and with all the meat that is being served, it may impress the guys more than the girls.

Pro tip: I don't know if they still do this, but you can ask for a second helping (!!!!) of the meat. Back in the day, it was a full cut. Last time I was there it was a smaller cut. Even if you do not have room in your belly, just ask for it, if they are still offering it. Cold, the next day, you have meat for softest beef sandwich ever.

Missed the ACTUAL best tip: No matter what cut you get, you can ask for seconds! So I always get the smallest cut, then get seconds

I am SO looking forward to that experience. I rarely eat red meat however I love the old school charm and atmosphere.
