What To Plan For The First Day Of Kindergarten- Hour 1

The first day of kindergarten is intense, magical, and scary- for everyone.

Do you need to over plan? Yep. Thinking out every minute, move, and word is going to mean the difference between good and great.

That is crazy to me that students can enter the building any time they want. In my state there is a set time the doors open - 30 minutes before the first bell. People can come early but they will be sitting in their car in the car line or standing outside the door if they are a walker till the school staff opens the door. Parents don't come into school the first day. Or ever. That's what Back to School night is for.
