That is so true; I notice when I focus on eating the right things, I am satisfied and crave the wrong things far less often, and I feel better.

Except for the poultry and meat I have them all. I also eat a lot on legumes (beans, lentils, chick peas, more rarely peanuts) as well as edamame and quinoa for proteins. Pickled/fermented veggies are a good source of probiotics, so they count as a food group for me. I don't drink cow milk (i drink almond or concut milk instead) but I occasionally have dairy products like butter or cheese, which are a bit pricey because I only buy the ones with the organic grass fed labels.

Great video, Jessica! Thank you! My wife and I love this channel and the vlog channel, as well. Just wanted to let you know that the Kirkland organic ground beef from Costco is not grass-fed. The little cartoon of the cow on the green pasture is misleading. Haha! It's important to note that the organic certification does mean that a small part of the cow's diet was pasture. However, If meat is 100% grass-fed it will say "grass-fed". We've found delicious grass-fed ground beef at Trader Joe's for $5.99/lb here in Chicago. Friends don't let friends eat corn-fed beef. Hope this helps! Take care!

I skip on the red meat, I rather plant based protein, would include chia, sesame and flax seeds

Since I tried dates with almond or peanut butter (organic) I found myself craving for this all the time instead of cake or chocolates. Great tips, although I can pass on the red meat (dislike the flavour).

Also, when it comes to spices, tumeric has this cool probiotic advantage which can help your digestion = less bloated and leaner. (And by pairing it with black pepper, n yes this is totaly true, its benefits will increase even more)
