No matter how balanced my pool is, and if I use shock, clarifier etc, it only clears after I add an ungodly amount of chlorine. Even when my chlorine levels are already above normal.

Can I pour the clarifier into the skimmer or does it have to be in the pool?

I've been trying to get rid of cloudy water for 2 weeks now. I added shock and flocculent and it did make everything sink to the bottom but when I vacuumed it got cloudy again. I cleaned my filter and everything. I don't know what else to do. I've been running my pump for 5 days straight now and its still cloudy

how long PH goes up with shock, i heard is just till shock takes chlorin up couple hours and then PH comebacks as ir was, is this correct?

12 dollar clarifier 2oz. Per 10, 000 gallons will clear it, but you'll be back tomorrow to add another 20 oz. Use a scale, 2 oz is a very little bite in a cup like 1.5 inches. Flocking sucks.

Do check your pH level before you shock the pool though!
