Love it! This is exactly what I needed to know. I was waiting for parts to fix my pool (manifold, new filters, gauge, etc) and let my pool go too long. Then, I had a lot of algae to kill. After getting rid of most of it, I overloaded the algaecide treatment one last time and now -- major pool foam! So according to the video, I should be good to go in a few days. I wasn't sure what was causing it though because I went the cheap route and used detergent to soak my four cartridge filters overnight... twice. I thoroughly rinsed off the filters so didn't think it would matter, but I hope that didn't contribute as well to the pool foam.

Thanks for all the informative and straight to the point videos. We just got my grandma's old hot tub and we're all totally new to this, so these videos help a lot!

I had a serious allergy problem and a lot of green water. It was recommended to me to use a copper sulfate solution. I believe the copper sulfate is causing my foamy water and a slight sheen on top. Your videos did address this and gave me some ideas going forward. Thank you for the ideas have a great day. If you have any other suggestions on copper sulfate please let me know thanks again.

Hello have a question. I added shock and next morning pool was covered with the foam. At the same time my pump is not priming and when it works i can see a lot of air bubbles in return. Could this cause foam and no result from shock.

Any insight as to why an Intex saltwater system, model 26667EG, up to 7000 gallon pool continues to say high salt level even after cleaning several times with vinegar and muriatic acid ? Salt level is 2500 yet it still says high? Thank you.

Hi, we have a hot tub and ours runs fine. However, my mum bought one "Netspa Malibu" and it is constantly becoming green and cloudy after just 1 use. We use Lay-z spa products but she doesn't have the second connection to add granuals like PH. We don't know what to do as she is constantly having to empty and change the water. There is no problems with the filter as its completely clean. Hoping you can give a bit of insight please

Dude I need help DESPERATELY, I did everything on every video posted and I can't get it to clear up. It started with a light cloudy water so I added more chlorine pucks and a water clarifier and it got sooo ducking bad that it's lightly foaming while turning 10xs cloudier. I'm desperate what can I do????

Help! I shocked my pool and that's what made the foam. What do I do?

Just found your video during my desperate search for "pool foam remedy." My chemicals are balanced, other than my chlorine is high (working on getting that down), but I still have foam. You say to then shock the pool. I have shocked it twice with non-chlorine shock, to no avail. My issue is 1) My chlorine is already high 2) My pool is indoors, so I don't have the advantage of the sun burning of the chlorine. Every time I shock my pool, the chlorine goes off-the-charts high and stays that way and I always have to add chlorine neutralizer. to bring it back down. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the foam without shocking my pool with chlorine?
