Cheers Richard. I've just bought a used one. The model wasn't named and I kinda hoped. it was the Kestral. Turns out it's a Woodlark. I'm still chuffed with it, as it will be great for hardier use. After seeing your video, I'm still happy as my head isn't like a Melon 😉
It's in the wesher at the moment and will try some Grangers or Nikwax to give it some assistance.
Being quite old, is it still in use?
Respectful Regards

Why the Hell didn't they make the side zips two way! That neck baffle would drive me mad. Great review but I'll look on, maybe to the keela ventile smock.

Fantastic overview. Cheers! Just to clarify: does the Woodlark have a ventile layer? It's just that you brought it up in the video, but I thought this smock didn't include one.

Twitches usually like at least 16 to 20 pockets on Bempton cliffs

I’d like to see this go up against a Keela Heritage Ventile smock. Purely because no one has ever reviewed one.

Many thanks for this review appreciated. The smock concept / features looks similar to the Buffalo 6 Special 'shirt', lower cost, about half the weight, synthetic Pertex outer and pile inner to keep moisture pumped out and you warm and dry inside - the Buffalo brand has a (very) loyal following - but being so breathable means it is not water proof / resistant (cover over with a light wt shell jacket once the heavens open) and will not take kindly to fire / sparks (hang about up wind). As used by the SAS (yes - that SAS), and about half the Game Keepers of Scotland (so that should tell you something...). Perhaps worth a look see....
