Quick update I have a couple of ecu’s I know I need to get the p28 chipped to run the hondata but what else do I need to buy?? Please help

Hey mate you've nailed a market that gets over looked and made the d16y4 something other than scrap .you can do anything with money but its what you produce on a budget that shows who the real backyard mechanics are..did you find a pin out for the d16y4 ecu or are the two connectors the same pins orientation as the eg civic.im trying to wire adaptronic e420c into my ek turbo there not quite as old as each other but almost .only pin out I can find is the 3 connector..prob a no brainer question but i cant find any info and i dont want to fry it lol i can cook a soufflé with my eyes closed..not so much wiring..

Hey mate, your car isnt obd2. Like i commented before best bet is to get a engine wiring wiring harness out of a 99+ VTI civic sedan or coupe. They came factory d16y8 vtec. They are a proper obd2b. Use and jumper harness for obd2b to obd1 where required. (Dizzy/alternator etc). Good luck!

you can order a p28 from phereable.net with a basemap for a dseries for boost at 5 or 10 psi. I personally ran mine for years with a fmu and k20a2 310cc injectors. also the oil smell is coming from your pcv setup I had the same problem the oem pcv valve is not designed to see positive crank pressure so it releases into the engine bay alot faster then normal

friend, there is a possibility that you can clear up my doubts about the p2k, the 2 connectors of the harness have empty pins since I cannot get the diagram or points of that ecu
