I read a lot of your replies in here and you should see another vet because of they told you this is normal or that lavender is safe, they are not a vet you want to consult.

You really seem like a good hearted guy and I wish your lil' fur ball a speedy recovery but please listen to us about lavender and honey 🥺

Just so you know lavander is actually toxic/poisonous to cats!! i had no idea untill finding that my cats allergies and sneezing was actually do to the air fresheners i would spray that all include lavender😊 when i removed all content of it from my home my kittys felt way better in just a few days

I recommend the baby nasal aspirators but if he gets worse it might be an upper respiratory infection. Praying for Mr. Ming Ming

A vet visit is the safest bet -- they'll have kitten-safe antibiotics (if needed) and the best advice on care at home

Hey lavender is actually toxic one cat parent to another, even if its super diluted or its not real.

Please see the vet. Lavender isn't good for kitties 😢 They can die from upper respiratory infections and he has several symptoms. Being sick for a week isn't normal for kitties

I love how careful you are with your kitties, you're a wonderful owner, but don't give honey to your cat. It can create rotten teeth in the future because of the sugar. Unless you brush their teeth with a cat toothpaste.
Try to keep your kitty warm and you can keep doing the steam treatment (you can do it in a pot). If he doesn't stop sneezing after a few days, maybe it's better to see the vet.

your cat probably has IRD which is like the cold, it's common this time of year (especially since you said he's new and probably came from somewhere with a lot of other cats?) it is contagious to your other cats. Though minor now, the treatment is a simple dose of antibiotics. It is important to get treated because it can turn into pneumonia which can just be more expensive and complicated. Source : Vet tech

Hey! I learnt that cats can get chin acne and little red sores around their chin, and it personally happened to my cat :( he’s all better now, but here’s a tip if that ever happens!! There should be a special type of cream that you can rub on their chin if it’s a red sore, you might find it in pet stores. If you can’t find it, ask the vet if they could give u some. If there isn’t a difference after rubbing a little bit on their chin each day after a week or two, it’s best to see the vet. I hope this helps you and other cat owners out there. I’m so glad my kitty is okay again, I’m overprotective over him. I was so worried abt him :3

Something that might help a little is to be aware that lavender isn’t as beneficial to cats as it is to humans, unfortunately. A bunch of other comments have said it already but I didn’t see much explanation or elaboration.
Lavender has two compounds in in that can cause cats symptoms like dizzy spells, lower heart rate, respiratory distress, and nausea. Linalyl acetate and linlool are the primary culprits.

A good source to check out is the ASPCA for any additional info I might have left out

Antibiotics from the vet!!! My kitten was sneezing when I got him too, vet gave antibiotics it was gone immediately
