18:28 Fun fact: betta fish are known for being highly aggressive to other members of their own species, fighting one another sometimes to the death. I've heard that, if you were to put a mirror in front of one it would start bashing its own body against it in sheer aggression, thinking it's another beta fish of the same sex, injuring itself in the process.

Yeah, there shouldn't be much of a wonder as to why she clashes a lot.

I think I have an explanation for Bottom Feeders all having Bottom as their last name. It's possible that it's a reference to the Ramones, which is one of the first and most famous punk band in history, and guess what ? Every member used Ramones as their pseudo-last name. Plus Bottom Feeders is also a punk band despite their music being radically different so I think it makes sense.

Uhh, hi! I don't quite know where to put this but, I have this headcannon that an ink substitute exists in the splatoon world that allows non ink based people to play ink based sports. I believe this ink substitute would also be used in the deep sea metro as Iso Padre (I think that's his name) was also a contestant. How the substitute would work is similar to a normal gun, around the map there would be refills that would instantly adapt to the colour of ink the user is playing with. I don't quite know how the respawn would work but I just wanted to put my ramblings out there.

as an irish person, bottom feeders makes me proud to be irish. they’re definitely one of my favourite splatoon bands, why are they so underappreciated 😭😭

I think it's really cute how Ink Theory match the vibe of their music by all being eccentric oddballs. Their distinct sound really made them my favorite band in Splat2, so I hope we get some more of it in 3.

2:16 my headcannon is that inklings and octolings could honestly have any color/pattern on their skin but most just choose to have human like skin tones.

Its intresting how inklings can look so different. I think in game inklings look so similar for game reasons maybe in universe they differ more or as they age there individual traits develop idk

I have some things to say about Bisk maybe being DJ real Sole.

In all the renditions of “New You” in the shops, we can hear an apparent difference after we get to the second loop of the main theme.

For the Head Gear Shop we get like some meowing almost.
For the Clothing Shop we get some vocals along with a synth.
In the weapons shop we get a little (trumpet?) solo.
And in the shoe shop, which is Bisks shop, we get a nice electric guitar solo/ motif.

In the Sunken Scroll with Bisk in it, we see the music sheet for this specific solo. Alluding to Bisk writing it.

Every shops music matches with the Merchants vibe and aesthetic. So I would like to think that Bisk’s really cool and sleek vibe wrote that specific remix for his own store.
