Lately my dad's google wifi turns off without any notice. When I unplug and re-plug it in, no light appears not even the blue one. Last time I tried to fix it I tried replacing the power cable and even resetting it. Before I can eventually come up with what can work, it suddenly fixes itself. Now its happening again and I got no clue how to fix it.

I had to reset four of them. One was exactly as described, two I thought were off but with the lights of were pulsing at very low light (I saw in another video to check if the Setup Network on the bottom of the router showed up in wifi & they were. The fourth is just solid blue after 30 minutes so I will just try again, this time holding 10 seconds. Thank you 🙏

Bro, thank you for sharing this I was trying to help my sister in Orlando and I could not figure out how to reset her Google Wifi two. The button on the back of the gen 2 is underneath the device with no fiscal button. Bro, I was listening to speak and I swear you sound just like me. I told my wife to listen to your video and she was that the voice sounds familiar. She tells me that's a New Yorker voice. I told her that's me except you have a little higher pitch. Anyways, thanks for sharing.

i just reset mine and as it turns out you just need to wait once you see it solid blue and the reset should go through just fine on the first try. once it’s solid blue wait and eventually it’ll go into pairing mode.

My mesh is set up using 2 Google wifi points. I just found a 3rd one in my closet but now I can't get it to connect, phone can't find it either. Do I have to reset all 3 or just the one?

when you reset, will this make two networks (the old one that you reset and the new one that is fully functional ) or will this override the old one leaving only one (network)?

This worked except the 2 added pods (after the main one) ended up/are now just continually pulsing blue and are not being seen by the Google Home app on my phone. (which is a completely AWFUL app by the way). I don't know how to fix this.

I know its been a year but my trash google wifi when I tried to connect it, it says that connection failed I am losing hope with this google wifi all the hard resets I do still when I try to connect using google home failed!
